Workflow Settings
Control the labels, default owners, ordering, and response time used by the live application and renewal boards. Changes update the canonical workflow roots; the boards do not keep their own copies.
Application workflow
The nine lifecycle keys stay locked so applications cannot be stranded in an unknown state. The business controls what each stage is called, who receives unassigned work by default, and its SLA.

Renewal workflow
Each live renewal status remains a locked system key. The company controls its board label, action owner, named staff assignee, and display order. Saving a staff assignment also reassigns open cases currently in that status.
Owner and tenant steps intentionally have no staff assignee. Choose “Unassigned” only when the step should sit in a shared queue.
